Licensed Practical Nurse New

Pride Health is seeking a LPN for a 13-week contract (with high possibility of extension) at a healthcare facility in Kapaau, HI. This is a great opportunity for experienced candidates to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while gaining valuable experience.

Position Details:

• Job title: Licensed Practical Nurse
• Location: Kapaau, HI

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days/Nights | 5X8s
• Hours per Week: 40 hours
• Travel Pay: $1,900/week

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Perform routine patient care tasks including wound care, vital signs monitoring, catheter care, and assisting with daily living activities.
• Document patient health status, care provided, and treatment outcomes accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare staff to implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and health management while promoting a safe and supportive care environment.

Experience:

• 2 years experience

Certifications & Skills:

• Active LPN License
• BLS (AHA)

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
